BIGGEST LOSER CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
Persistence Fitness are excited to bring you details for our first ever Biggest Loser Contest! We will run Biggest Loser informational open days every Saturday from 13.00pm to 14.00pm. These open days will run throughout the challenge for participants to attend with any queries they may have. Come to get the lowdown on this life changing opportunity.
*Sign and return the registration form along with registration fee Registration Fee £49.99. Once our 30 spaces have been filled you will be notified then all balances £100 must be paid within 2 days of this notification, failure to do so you will result in elimination. Our contest will start on the first Monday after the contest is full, initial weights and measurements must be done within 2 days of the start date. See below for scheduled times.
This is a committed group of people who will take the 6 week challenge seriously to improve their fitness,nutrition, and overall wellness, The Biggest Loser Contest will not only be about losing weight, but also about gaining strength, creating healthy eating habits and establishing a sustainable healthy lifestyle habit. If you are interested in these things, this contest is for you. Contestants must be 18 years of age or over.
- TIME FRAME
The Biggest Loser Challenge will run for 6 weeks. The contest will always start on a Monday and end on the Sunday of the sixth week. You must obtain your initial weigh-in and measurements the weekend before the contest starting. If one of these times do not work, please contact us 01670 516795. The Final Weigh In and measurement date will be the last Sunday of the sixth week. See below for scheduled times.
- WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
The registration fee will secure your challenge space, offer our Biggest Loser Diet Plan, Biggest Loser Education, Biggest Loser Fitness Classes including any class from our timetable, weekly weigh ins and support from our Biggest Loser Facebook group. Requirements: Mandatory initial weigh-in and initial measurements will be on Saturday or Sunday between 9am and 1pm the weekend before the challenge starts Each individual participant will be required to attend a minimum of 18 fitness classes by the end of the contest, proof of check in to Persistence Fitness for each class will be required at the end of the challenge.
Weigh ins are every Saturday & Sunday between 9am and 1pm If these times do not suit please call us on 01670 516795 to arrange another time.
We will help provide healthy eating ideas, fitness tips. Our fully proven diet plan will also be explained in detail on your sign up process. We have tailored Biggest Loser Fitness Classes to achieve results, Biggest Loser Education Classes are every Saturday from 13.00pm to 14.00pm Biggest Loser Facebook group to give you support throughout the 6 weeks.
- WEIGHT LOSS PERCENTAGE FORMULA
The formula to calculate your weight loss percentage is: lbs lost divided by starting weight. Then, multiply the result by 100. Example: (5lbs / 150lbs) * 100 = -3.33% So, if your starting weight is 150lbs and you lost 5lbs, you’ve lost 3.33% of your body weight.

- OTHER PARAMETERS
It is encouraged that you consult with your doctor before beginning any exercise/weight loss program. Water Consumption - please make sure you are drinking plenty of water/fluids throughout the competition. Food Consumption - NOT eating is not an option - be healthy and eat in moderation and you’ll be great! In the events of a tie of percentage of weight lost, we will consider the pounds and centimetres lost. No refunds We reserve the right to remove any individual from the competition if we feel an unhealthy level of activity or nutrition has been reached. If you have any questions please ask!
